Dear Football Fans
There will be no edition of Touchdown Europe in 2006. Unfortunately the selling numbers of the first edition havent been that great, therefore we stop the production of this years issue. Additionally it was very hard to get the necessary information from about half of all European football federations plus from about a third of all Top100 clubs in Europe. This led to extensive research activities, which was hard to do with limited resources.
The reactions of the readers were throughout positive and now, there seem to open some new editorial and distribution channels. The projekt is on stand-by at the moment, there is a chance for a new yearbook in 2007, provided that there will be a broader interest and support in the different countries. Therefore, we are looking for:
- editors in all European football countries
- distribution partners (especially federations!) in all European football countries.
With a corresponding resonance and development, we will resume Touchdown Europe in 2007. If you are interested, please send a mail to info@touchdowneurope.org. Thank you very much for your understanding.
